Drontal Puppy® is a dewormer for young dogs in form of oral suspension. It consists of febantel and pyrantel as active ingredients. Pyrantel pamoate is active against hookworms and ascarids. Febantel is active against nematode parasites including whipworms. Febantel is rapidly absorbed and metabolized in the animal.

What is this product?

Bayer drontal puppy is used for the treatment of roundworm infections in puppy and young dogs up to one year of age.

Roundworm infections are caused by :

Ascardis: Toxocara canis,Toxascaris leonina
Hookworms: Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala
Whipworm: Trichuris Vulpis

Dosage

1ml suspension / kg body weight administered orally. The product may be given directly to the animal or mixed with the food. No special dietary measures are necessary.

Composition

Each ml of oral suspension contains Pyrantel Embonate IP 14.4 mg, Febantel BP 15.0 mg.

Precautions

Do not use in pregnant or lactating bitches, Do not use simultaneously with compunds containing Piperazine.
